{"id":1360,"date":"2015-10-13T19:31:19","date_gmt":"2015-10-13T12:31:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tuk.or.id\/?p=1360"},"modified":"2018-12-28T17:46:37","modified_gmt":"2018-12-28T17:46:37","slug":"congregation-of-clans-towards-the-strengthening-of-the-economic-livelihoods-territory-of-customary-law-communities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tuk.or.id\/en\/2015\/10\/congregation-of-clans-towards-the-strengthening-of-the-economic-livelihoods-territory-of-customary-law-communities\/","title":{"rendered":"CONGREGATION OF CLANS TOWARDS THE STRENGTHENING OF THE ECONOMIC LIVELIHOODS TERRITORY OF CUSTOMARY LAW COMMUNITIES"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tuk.or.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/Lokakarya.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-1347\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tuk.or.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/Lokakarya.jpg\" alt=\"Lokakarya\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\"><\/a><\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">CONGREGATION OF CLANS TOWARDS THE STRENGTHENING OF THE ECONOMIC LIVELIHOODS TERRITORY OF CUSTOMARY LAW COMMUNITIES <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Muting, 09-10 September 2015<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i>Compiled today, Thursday 10<\/i><\/span><\/span><sup><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i>th<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/sup><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i> September 2015, at the Muting Church,<\/i><\/span><\/span> <span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">after listening to, discussing and analysing the issue of Customary Land Rights in the Subur Sub-District of the Boven Digoel District, and the Ulilin and Muting Sub-Districts of the Merauke District, in the <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i><b>Facilitator Workshop Meeting: Encounter of Clans towards the Strengthening of the Economic Livelihoods of Customary Law Communities<\/b><\/i><\/span><\/span><i><b> <\/b><\/i><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">in the Muting and Ulilin Sub-Districts, attended by representatives of the clans of Subur, Aiwait and Kaisa villages (Subur Sub-District) of Boven Digoel District,and the clans of Selauw, Boha, Pachas, Kolam and Muting villages (Muting Sub-District), and Selil<\/span><\/span> <span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">and Kindiki villages (Ulilin Sub-District) of Merauke District and TuK INDONESIA, which was a follow-up meeting to the <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i><b>Customary Law Communities Deliberation<\/b><\/i><\/span><\/span><i><b> <\/b><\/i><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">held on 29<\/span><\/span><sup><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">th<\/span><\/span><\/sup><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> \u2013 30<\/span><\/span><sup><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">th<\/span><\/span><\/sup><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> August 2015 in Boha village in Merauke District and in Subur village, with the participation of Aiwait and Kaisa villages in Boven Digoel District.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">This meeting fully accommodated and struggled towards supporting the customary land rights of indigenous peoples of the Muting and Ulilin Sub-Districts of Merauke District, and the Subur Sub-District of Boven Digoel District, who are faced with real and concrete problems resulting from the development of policies by companies operating in Muting, Ulilin and Subur.
